Completion of Quote Database

I'm planning to play all the Mario & Luigi RPG games and collect every single quote in them. A couple of questions before I do this:

1. Should I add in the speech by characters teaching you how to jump and use your hammers?
2. Should I add in all the notes and signs that aren't spoken by anyone?

A "quote" isn't everything that a character says. It's something memorable that people will remember after the game has ended… not every single thing they say.
